J.H. joined the Centre staff in 2001 after serving in Fayette County as Director of Elementary Schools and as teacher and principal in the Danville Independent School System. His current responsibilities include teaching in the Education program and working with the student life and admission offices to recruit and retain minority students, staff, and faculty. He coordinates the Whitney M. Young Scholars on-campus program and serves as advisor for the Diversity Student Union.
