Kathryn is a native of Bluefield, W. Va., but has lived in central Kentucky for over 10 years. She earned two degrees in sociology, a B.A. from Berea College and an M.A. from the University of Kentucky. Her previous employment history includes working with a college consortium to manage student scholarship and faculty fellowship programs. Her responsibilities at Centre include aiding the development staff to expand the corporate and foundation funding base; and assisting faculty to identify, and prepare proposals to, external funding sources in support of their research interests.
