The 7th Annual Centre RICE (Research, Internships, and Creative Endeavors) Symposium will take place on campus April 10-11, 2014.
RICE Symposium Overview
Students in ALL DISCIPLINES and in ALL CLASS YEARS are invited to present their recent academic work at the symposium. The symposium is set up like a typical academic conference—with registration, abstract submission, concurrent paper sessions, and a poster session. Students’ abstracts are published together in a bound program.
Students will have the opportunity to either:
(1) give a 12-minute presentation on their work in a paper session with 3 or 4 other student presenters,
(2) design a poster describing their work for display in the poster session, or
(3) display their creative work in a gallery, an exhibition, or give a performance in a studio setting.
The Annual Centre RICE Symposium is sponsored by the Dean, Associate Dean, and a grant from Dr. John Barton.
