Rotary Global Grant Scholarship
2010 Rotary Scholarship Recipient
“I have a great deal of thanks to offer to the international program at Centre,” Warner says. “My time in Strasbourg exposed me to a world outside of the States and truly instilled the concept of being a ‘global citizen.'”
Rotary District 6710 (Centre’s district) sponsors two Global Grant Scholarships of up to US $40,000 each for graduate-level study at universities outside North America. Candidates must be endorsed by a grant-qualified Rotary Club in District 6710. The proposed master’s degree program of study and the applicant’s career commitment should align with one of Rotary International’s six humanitarian areas of focus: peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development.
Dr. Milton Reigelman handles the selection process.
