The Bonner Program at Centre College has two elements, Bonner Scholars and Bonner Leaders.
Each element makes a significant difference in the lives of individuals in our local community. There are different requirements for each branch, but the two tracts are intertwined. The requirements for each program are listed below.

Bonner Scholars

• Entire documented need met through grants, scholarships, and loans
• $2500 scholarship each year
• $4725 available in AmeriCorps loan reduction money
• $2000 in loan reduction money from the Bonner Foundation upon completion of the program
• 10 hours of service per week required
• Two summers of service required with compensation provided of at least $2500
• First Year Service Trip required - organized and financed by Centre
• Second Year Service Exchange - participation required - weekend service trip organized and financed by Centre
• Bonner service site doubles as work study site if eligible

Bonner Leaders

• $4725 available in AmeriCorps loan reduction money
• 10 hours of service per week required
• Optional summers of service, with compensation provided of at least $2000
• First Year Service Trip organized and financed by Centre (optional)
• Second Year Service Exchange - weekend service trip organized and financed by Centre (optional)
• Bonner service site doubles as work study site if eligible
