Residence Life and Housing Staff
The Residence Life Office is part of the Student Life Office and are here to help you with your questions and concerns about residence life and housing on campus.
Cody is a 2014 Centre College graduate from Louisville, KY with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. He joined the Student Life Office in July 2014. As Area Coordinator and Shuttle Coordinator, Cody helps to supervise and train the Residence Life staff and oversees the Shuttle Service. While at Centre, Cody served as the Student Government Association President, interned in the Residence Life Office, and studied abroad in Merida, Mexico (twice) and Ghana, Africa.
Anne joined the Student Life staff in July of 2015 after working in Centre’s Communications Office as the interim Communications Fellow. Originally from Lexington, Ky., Anne graduated from Centre in 2012. She then worked as an associate producer at Kentucky Educational Television before pursuing graduate studies. She received her master’s degree in Journalism in 2014 from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. As the Assistant Director of Residence Life, Anne helps recruit, train and supervise Centre’s team of Resident Assistants and Resident Directors, and she also assists in other branches of the Student Life Office.
Jacob re-joined the Student Life staff in July of 2012 having previously been in the position of Area Coordinator in 2009-2010. Originally from Louisville, Ky., Jacob graduated from Centre in 2009 and completed his master’s degree in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University where he served as a Graduate Hall Director. Jacob assumes the position of Director of Residence Life in the recruitment, training, and supervision of the RA staff and in the development of the programming initiatives that occur in the residence halls.

A 30-year veteran of the Student Life staff, Ann, a Danville native, has worked in student activities, housing, and volunteer service during her tenure at Centre. She has a bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. Ann coordinates all the housing of students on campus in the residence halls and special housing.

The mission of the Residence Life Office is to enhance the academic experience and to encourage an inclusive, safe, healthy, and supportive living environment for all Centre College students. We work to accomplish this by facilitating programs aimed at developing responsible decision making skills, creating a strong sense of community, and fostering respect for self and others in a diverse, global society. The Residence Life Office believes in empowering students to accept personal responsibility and to realize the leadership potential in everyone.
