Breckinridge Hall

Date Built: 1892, renovated in 1999

Named For: Rev. Robert J. Breckinridge, a founder of
Danville Theological Seminary and uncle of U.S. vice president
John Cabell Breckinridge, Class of 1838

Current Use: residence hall for upperclass students

Called "Breck" for short, Breckinridge Hall was at one time the
dormitory for students of the Danville Theological Seminary.
It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
