As the school year begins, Pearl Hall is now a reality, and students are enjoying their brand new “home away from home.” Read on for information regarding the Campus Center, Science Center and the Norton Center for the Arts.

Pearl Hall
Pearl Hall is completed and open for students. Check out the Campus Construction Web page for photos of the new residence facility.

Campus Center
• Foundation in the basement is being poured.
• The basement walls should be poured this week.

Science Center
A group has been formed and will soon be discussing plans for a groundbreaking ceremony to be held on campus during this year’s Homecoming celebrations.   
 
Norton Center
for the Arts

• The semi-circular driveway to the Walnut Street entrance to the Norton Center grand foyer is marked off and should be finished by the end of September.   
• The architects from Lexington will be on campus consulting with the four people (George Foreman, Debra Hoskins, Karen Sherwood, and Dana Bart) whose offices will be moved to the foyer area where the large soft sculpture is now located.
