Education for the Whole Person

In the fall of 2002, Centre College announced plans for the creation of a multi-million-dollar facility that would establish new national standards of excellence in providing seamless education for the mind and body. Work on this project was completed in the spring of 2005.

What
The project expanded, renovated, and unified the main academic facility and athletic/
recreation facility to create The College Centre—a state-of -the-art complex in which
students enhance their intellectual, social, spiritual, and physical development.

When
The grand opening of the facility took place in the spring of 2005. The formal dedication was October 14, 2005. Full story.

How
Funding for The College Centre was one of the top priorities of the campaign for A More Perfect Centre.
