Crounse Academic Center

The historical flavor associated with Old Centre (1819) and Old Carnegie (1914) was
brought into the renovation and new construction planned for Crounse. Containing

classrooms and faculty offices, as well as the Grace Doherty Library, Crounse is
at the heart of Centre students' academic experience. Its renovation and expansion
created a 75,000-square-foot state-of-the-art education facility with 25,000 new square
feet and 50,000 square feet of renovated space. Highlights of the Crounse renovation and expansion include:

• Study carrels with power/data ports

• Additional space for 60,000 volumes
