AN UPDATE ON THE COLLEGE CENTRE
Recent Activity/Information
Steel beams are going up at Crounse and this process will continue for the next several weeks.
Ceilings in the basement of Crounse are being removed over the winter holiday break.
The compact shelving area in the basement of Crounse is ready for carpet which is being shipped the second week of January.
There will be some plumbing shutdowns in Crounse over holiday break that are needed to connect plumbing to a new bathroom and to disconnect plumbing from other parts of Crounse.
The temporary heat for Sutcliffe is working well.
Foundations for the new Sutcliffe addition are being poured.
There's plenty of mud on site, but that hasn't hampered efforts, and the project is still on schedule.
Where to find information on The College Centre
Information on the progress of The College Centre project will be provided throughout the school year. Look for student/faculty/staff e-mails, as well as information in Notesworthy and on the College's homepage. THERE IS ALSO A SECTION OF THE COLLEGE'S WEB SITE DEVOTED TO THE COLLEGE CENTRE. Go to http://www.centre.edu/cc for an overview of the project, current pictures and a photo archive, floor plans, an archive of update messages, and more.
Your patience and cooperation is appreciated as work moves forward on this major enhancement of the academic and athletic/recreation facilities of the College.
