AN UPDATE ON THE COLLEGE CENTRE
As you can see, major progress has been made on The College Centre over the summer. As the exteriors of the buildings take shape, we begin to see the dramatic enhancement this project will make to the appearance (and function) of campus.

Here are some more details about progress on The College Centre:
CROUNSE
The brick on planters has been laid.
Most windows have been installed (inside and outside windows).
All of the exterior decorative stone work has been completed; brick work on three sides is complete; small area on south side remains to be completed.
Pre-molded top trim and gutter board is 75 percent installed.
All stair rails are completed.
Most of drywall is installed on all floors.
Painting on occupied first floor south of temporary wall is complete (except for final touch up); suspended ceiling tiles are installed; some painting is complete; and some ceiling grid is being installed on other floors.
Carpet is complete for occupied space on first floor; shelving is reassembled and set in place; first floor circulation and reference areas open for operation.
First floor bathrooms are complete and in service.
First floor Fire alarm system and sprinkler systems are installed and operable.
Landscaping plan is being reviewed and modified to include some recommendations from the Campus Beautification Committee; installation of some bedding materials to be scheduled before winter.
All primary electrical service has been rerouted to the new switch gear and distribution system.
Chilled water air conditioning system is operational, and work on the hot water heating system is progressing well.

SUTCLIFFE
Almost completely enclosed in block, waterproofing has begun, and exterior bricking to start soon pending delivery of brick as scheduled.
Bowman Gym is complete and approved for use.
New roofing is complete and re-roofing of existing facility is almost complete; guttering is complete except for downspouts and tie-in with storm sewer system.
Air conditioning duct work is being installed throughout the building.
Framing and block installation of interior walls in Sutcliffe is in progress; most interior rooms and exercise areas are defined and identifiable; drywall work to start soon.
Air conditioning for the performance and auxiliary gyms is operational.
Performance gym floor is being prepared for sanding, painting, and finishing; bleachers are being installed.
Outdoor jump pit, pole vault runway, and running track complete; painted lettering is complete.
