Centre offers gubernatorial debate tickets to the public
Centre College will welcome Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway and Louisville businessman Matt Bevin to campus for a gubernatorial debate in Newlin Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 6:45 p.m.
Sponsored by AARP, the hour-long event will be moderated by news anchor Scott Reynolds and broadcast live statewide on both television and radio stations by media partner WAVE 3 News.
Centre’s tradition of providing great educational opportunities to students continues, as it did when hosting the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate. Building on its national reputation as a place where important conversations occur, Centre is pleased to offer a limited number of tickets to the public.
• Ticket requests are limited up to 4 per household.
• Requests for tickets must be received by Friday, Sept. 25, 2015.
• A lottery will be conducted to determine who will receive tickets.
• Guests are expected to adhere to the Debate Hall Guidelines and Code of Conduct, details of which are included in the ticket mailing.
