Combs Warehouse
The corner of West Walnut & Harding Streets
Danville, KY

Truck parking for the Credentialing Center is located along Harding Street, which runs on the backside (west) of the Credentialing Center.

Remember to bring one government-issued photo ID and a secondary form of ID.  If you are an early arrival your pre-debate credential will expire and you will need to return to the Accreditation Center for a CPD pass.

In addition to your own credential, you will also need to visit Centre College’s Information Desk in the Accreditation Center to obtain a “Temporary” truck parking pass and directions to where you will park and power.  You must fill in the blanks on the ”Temporary” parking pass and display it in the front window of your production vehicle at all times.

Starting at 9am on Sunday Morning October 10th, this “Temporary” parking pass will allow you to get your production vehicle into the designated parking lot .  Any vehicle without a pass will NOT be allowed to enter the truck parking lot.

Production truck parking is on the soccer field next to The Norton Center for the Arts which is the debate hall.

Here are the directions from the Credentialing Center to the truck parking:  Turn left (east) onto Walnut Street from Harding Street.  Proceed east on Walnut for approximately one mile.  At the intersection of Walnut Street and Fourth Street, turn right (south) onto Fourth Street.   Proceed to the intersection of Fourth Street and Martin Luther King Street; there is flashing yellow light.  Turn right (west) onto Martin Luther King, which will run into the truck parking lot.

Once you are in the production truck parking area, go to the College’s Rate Card Desk, located at the entrance to the Media Filing Center, to pick up a copy of your company’s order for services, and to pay for any additional phone, data, and other services you may require.  If your rate card order has already been paid by your home office, ask for a copy of the receipt.

If you are not already in your final parking spot, you will be directed to one, and the onsite vendors will be contacted to supply any services ordered in a timely manner.

The “Temporary” parking pass you received will be good until the Secret Service Sweep the night before the debate.  During the afternoon on Wednesday, October 10th, you will receive an official USSS parking pass to place in your vehicle prior to the Sweep.  Any vehicle NOT displaying an official USSS parking pass is subject to removal from the compound during the Sweep.

All trucks and trailers must be in position by 5pm on Wednesday October 10th.  After this no more vehicles will be allowed in until the debate is over.  There will also be no access to your vehicle on Tuesday night during the USSS security sweep.

Remember that ALL vehicle doors, access doors, storage compartments, road cases, file cabinets, shipping containers, toolboxes, and any other types of compartments or cases MUST be left unlocked during the USSS Security Sweep.
