William Andrus came to Centre in 2011 as visiting assistant professor of art.

After receiving a B.A. in studio art at Centre, Andrus went on to study painting at the University of Kentucky, where he received his MFA. He has had a number of solo and group shows including exhibitions at The Talley Gallery at Bemidji State University, the Cochenour Gallery at Georgetown College and the Tuska Center for the Contemporary Arts in Lexington, Kentucky. Andrus's work has also been included in numerous juried exhibitions throughout the Southeast. Two of this works currently reside in the permanent collections of both Centre College and Georgetown College.
