Financial Aid and Scholarships
Centre’s programs of need-based financial aid and merit scholarships are among the most generous of any top national college. More than 85 percent of this year’s freshman class is receiving financial aid or a scholarship. The average one-year aid package for first-year students receiving aid in 2012-13 was $26,500. For the class of 2016, financial aid awards ranged from $5,000 to $43,800. Competitive scholarships at Centre are available for 40 to 50 percent of each freshman class, valued from $20,000 to over $175,200 (comprehensive fee) over four years.
