Nancy Hensley Amos

The Three Graces

Nancy graduated from Centre in 1950 with degrees in English and dramatic arts. As an alumna, she has served the College as a class agent. Nancy and her late husband, Ralph, donated their glass collection to Centre, which can be seen in the Doherty Library. In addition, Nancy established the Nancy Hensley Amos Dramatic and Visual Scholarship, which is awarded to full-time students at Centre who are majoring in or have demonstrated ability in either drama or the visual arts and who have financial need. Nancy’s brother, Jay Thomas Hensley, graduated from Centre in 1965.
