Bill Breeze
Bill graduated from Centre in 1945 with a degree in mathematics and went on to receive a master’s in the same from the University of Kentucky. Following a lengthy and successful career as Executive Vice President at Ohio National, he returned to Centre to hold a variety of positions. In addition to serving as Special Assistant to the President for Endowment, Bill has also served as vice president of development and alumni affairs and as acting president. Prior to working at Centre, he was an active alumnus, who served as a class agent, class reunion committee member, president of the alumni association, member of the parents committee, and as a trustee. He was also named a Distinguished Alumnus in 1992. Bill has also been one of the most loyal donors to the College, making a gift every year for as long as the College has kept records of individual giving. In 2010, the College created the Bill Breeze Society in his honor to recognize consecutive giving. Bill is married to Barbara Hall, Stodghill Professor of Music at Centre. His daughter is Nancy Breeze, Centre Class of 1976.
