Hubbard G. Buckner

The Three Graces

Hub graduated from Centre in 1928 with a bachelor’s degree in history. He made his career in banking and served as president of First National Bank in Louisville. Hub served Centre as a class agent, an admission match volunteer, a member of the alumni association board of directors, and a trustee. He received the Louisville Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1966. Hub passed away on September 22, 1997.
