The Three Graces
Henry graduated from Centre in 1931 with a degree in economics. He went on to earn a graduate degree in English from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1933, a library science degree from the University of Illinois in 1934, and a master’s degree in library science from the University of Michigan in 1939. He was Librarian Emeritus at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Henry received the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1981. Upon his death, his bequest established the Coleman Library Endowment. Henry passed away on February 9, 1996.
