Craig W. Johnson


Craig graduated from Centre in 1975 with a degree in economics and went on to earn his MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 1977. In 1985, Craig founded Centre Properties in Indianapolis, a real estate development firm that specializes in superior retail space. As an alumnus, Craig has served as a presidential inauguration representative, a member of his reunion committee, and an admission match volunteer. Craig currently serves on the Centre Board of Trustees. During Homecoming 2004, the Craig W. Johnson Pool in Boles Natatorium was dedicated in his honor. In addition, Craig established the Craig W. Johnson Scholarship, with is awarded to full-time students who have demonstrated academic ability and are of good character. Craig’s father, Dr. Richard G. Johnson, graduated from Centre in 1943.
