John W. Landrum

John attended Centre for two years before going on to graduate from the University of Miami in 1947 with a degree in economics. John has been a member of his reunion committee, a director for the alumni association, a class agent, an admission match program volunteer, a committee member for the Front & Centre Campaign, and he is a trustee emeritus on the Centre Board of Trustees. He continues to support Centre as a Senior Science Fellow. In 2002, John was named Associate of the Year. The Grissom-Landrum Scholarships were established by the Galen Foundation and perpetuated by Columbia/HCA Health Care Corporation, in honor of J. David Grissom and John Landrum, to be awarded annually to one or more students who are the children of employees at Columbia/HCA affiliated entities. John and his wife, Vivian, live in Harrodsburg, Kentucky and Naples, Florida.
