James W. Ratcliffe
Jim graduated from Centre in 1953 with a degree in business. In 2000, he retired as Managing Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Louisville. An active alumnus, Jim has served as president of the Alumni Association, the Louisville committee chair for the Front & Centre Campaign, and a committee member for the Campaign for A More Perfect Centre. In 1989, Jim received the Distinguished Alumnus Award and was named Associate of the Year in 1996. Jim helped establish the PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholarship, which is awarded to returning Centre students who have maintained at least a “B” average and are interested in pursuing a career in public accounting, with preference accorded to students with financial need. Jim is a member of the Centre Board of Trustees. He and his wife, Mary Ann, live in Louisville and Naples, Florida.
