Thomas W. Speckman

Tom graduated from Centre in 1949 with a degree in history and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville in 1952. He retired from Speckman & Hoback in 2002. Tom has served Centre as a reunion committee member, a strategic planning focus group volunteer, a committee member for the Campaign for A More Perfect Centre, and as head of the Louisville Area Colonels Club. Tom and his late wife, Mary Lee, established the Thomas W. and Mary Lee Speckman Scholarship to be awarded to full-time students at Centre College who have demonstrated academic ability and are of good character. Mary Lee passed away July 23, 2010.
