LOCATED IN HISTORIC DANVILLE, KENTUCKY
Founded in 1784 and with a population of
18,000, Danville has been rated among
America’s 100 best small towns. It is 40 minutes
from Lexington, 90 minutes from Louisville, and
120 minutes from Cincinnati. Downtown (within
walking distance of campus) offers locally owned
restaurants and a regional medical center.
Our 165-acre campus is mostly Greek Revival
(red brick and white columns), and includes
14 buildings in the National Register of
Historic Places. Among a number of new
buildings are Brockman Residential
Commons (2012), a major science addition
(2010), a campus center (2009), and Pearl
Hall residence hall (2008).
When we were founded—in 1819—Cent

of the state.
