| “As a student,
a varsity athlete, and an RA, I have a great appreciation for the
way all of the pieces of the Centre Experience fit together. We’re
not just one thing or another here. The physical environment at
Centre makes that possible. The College provides the facilities—academcic,
athletic,
residential, and otherwise—that make this a really close, intense
experience.” |

Gifts to build
and renovate facilities have helped the Centre campus keep pace with
the changing needs of students and faculty. From Old Centre, the
oldest building standing on campus, to the Jones Visual Arts Center,
Centre buildings owe their origin or their improvement to the generosity
of donors.
Assisted by gifts from alumni and friends directed to the Capital
Improvements Fund, Centre is planning to expand and modernize its
library, enhance its athletic facilities and playing fields, create
new spaces for fitness and recreation activities, and rebuild its
classrooms and laboratories. Although technically an unrestricted,
quasi-endowment fund, the Capital Improvements Fund is envisioned
to be a permanent resource – one that grows over time – for
the maintenance and improvement of the living and learning environment
on the Centre campus. |

Capital Improvements Fund Naming Opportunities
Donors who make gifts of significant size are invited to consider
a naming opportunity for The College Centre or one of the following
opportunities:
• Athletic Fields
• Norton Center for the Arts
• Boles Natatorium
• Sutcliffe Hall Expansion and Renovation
• Crounse Academic Center Expansion and Renovation
There are hundreds
of naming opportunities for new, renovated, and existing space all
over the Centre campus. Gifts ranging from $5,000 to $1,000,000 will
name everything from study carrels to new gymnasiums, and everything
in between.

| “What makes Centre
different? The Centre Experience is about educating and developing
the entire person. At most schools you find students motivated to
learn. But here at Centre it goes far beyond that. The Centre Experience
isn’t just about education, it’s about beginning a process
of lifelong formation.” |
