Spring term life

9:23 – Wake up to the most annoying sound ever (a.k.a. my alarm), wishing I didn’t have to get out of bed to turn it off.

9:25 – Get out of bed and walk to the bathroom for a shower despite the fact that I’m still asleep.

9:47 – Get dressed and head over to Cowan Dining Commons for some breakfast and to finish the rest of my homework from the night before. You’ve got to love the demands of pledging a fraternity.

10:18 – Take my seat in class, still in a little bit of a daze. My mind is set on lunch, not history (no offense to all of those history people out there).

11:20 – Leave my first class of the day only to head to my second one. Still thinking of lunch.

12:30 – FINALLY LUNCH! A chance for me to chill with some friends and catch up on more homework before finishing up my classes for the day.

1:49 – Stroll into my last class of the day, still pretty content from what Cowan had to offer (assuming it was a good day at Cowan), ready to learn the beautiful language called la Français.

1:55 – Head back to my dorm hoping to catch a few ZZZs, only to remember all of the multiple pledge activities I have taking place that evening, meaning homework must be done now. (Trust me, pledging is worth the lack of sleep.)

4:32 – Meet my pledge class to head over to the SAE (Sigma Alpha Epsilon) house for Cowan Train.

4:53 – Make it to the SAE house with all 15 pledge brothers to listen to Freshley pour his heart and soul into that train whistle.

4:58 – Eat dinner at Cowan and hang out with—you guessed it—my pledge brothers. It’s definitely one of the most relaxing and enjoyable parts of my day.

6ish to10ish – Take part in a variety of pledging activities. By the time this is over, it's safe to say that no place sounds better than my bed. As soon as that thought pops into my head, it's forced out by the unfinished homework that eagerly waits in my backpack to be completed.

10:48 – Grab a quick snack from my room or The Everyday Cafe (usually the latter, considering greasy, unhealthy food sounds much more satisfying than “healthy” stuff in my room).

?:?? – Refuse to look at the time as I set my alarm to do it all again. Chances are it’s around 1:30 a.m….if I’m lucky.
