My favorite memories

Here are some of my favorite memories and moments from my first year at Centre:

1. Riding on the Centre swing after chemistry tests. There's no better stress reliever than the swing.

2. The surprise birthday party my friends threw me. On my birthday, I got O’Charley’s take-out with Kate, and when we arrived at the park, my friends were there to surprise me!

3. Spending the day in Lexington with Julie and Christin.

4. Receiving a package card in the mail. (This really is one of the best feelings in the world.)

5. Joining my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. This is one of the best decisions I've made this year. I've met so many amazing people, and have been a part of something that's bigger than myself.

6. Going to the Everyday Cafe to split chocolate milkshakes with Julie…and then fighting in the middle of the Campus Center over who gets the smaller cup.

7. Buying rain boots. Very exciting. Enough said.

8. Staying up late to talk with my roommate, Khaki, about getting a seahorse for our room.

9. Dancing with Kat at the Matt Nathanson concert.

10. Taking interesting classes that are actually fun. And finding a subject that I love—Spanish.

11. Doing service work in Atlanta for Alternative Spring Break.

I could go on and on about some of my favorite moments during my freshman year, but I think that these sum up my overall experience at Centre.
