Nerves and excitement
It’s midnight, and in 7 hours and
29 minutes my plane will (hopefully) be taking off. The past few days have been
hectic as I scurry around saying goodbye to everybody, cleaning my room, and
packing my stuff (everything I should have done six weeks ago). So now that
it’s midnight and everybody is asleep, all I can do is sit,
wait, and twiddle my thumbs aimlessly.
But right now, all of these feelings have bubbled down and the whole situation feels a little surreal. I really can’t believe that after hours of preparation, I’m finally going to college.
