Saturdays

I've always loved Saturdays, and this hasn’t changed since I arrived at Centre. Sometimes I take a trip up to Lexington with friends or participate in a campus wide activity, but many Saturdays consist of hanging out and doing homework. Here’s a rundown of my typical Saturday:

8:30 a.m.: Wake up to my alarm (with the intention of getting an early start on homework).

8:31 a.m.: Hit the snooze button and fall back asleep.

10:00 a.m.: Wake up for real this time, throw on a pair of sweats, grab my backpack, and head downtown to The Hub Coffee House to do some homework.

10:30 a.m.: Arrive at The Hub and order a chocolate, chocolate-chip muffin and a Diet Coke. (The employees there are starting to catch on to my usual order).

10:30 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.: Work on different assignments and “people watch.”

12:00 p.m. — 1:00 p.m.: Enjoy a delicious brunch at the new Campus Center.

1:00 p.m. — 6:00 p.m.: Lounge around, do laundry, and “finish homework” (a.k.a go on Facebook).

6:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m.: Eat dinner at the Campus Center.

7:00 p.m. — ?: Hang out with friends (eat junk food, watch “Say Yes to the Dress” marathons, have girl-talk sessions, run around campus, and be oh-so-spontaneous).
