It's interesting

It's interesting, yet unnerving, how quickly time is passing by. The fact that it's already April just blows my mind. It’s weird how much I’ve embraced Centre since August, and how much it has seemed to embrace me. I definitely feel like it’s another home. In fact after our last track meet, I caught myself feeling as if I was walking across my own backyard as I crossed the lawn to the Norton Center still wearing my track gear in order to grab a ticket for that night’s show. I later thought it was interesting how I started the day as a collegiate athlete on the other side of the state, and finished it in a dress listening to a noteworthy choir and orchestra ensemble. That’s Centre for you.

If I know one thing, it’s that I’m definitely learning how to be more efficient with my time. The days fly by because I’m constantly doing something. From 9:20 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. of every day, I'm completely booked. It’s insanity, really. But I believe it's preparing me well for the work life, and for how life works in general. The end of my freshman year is drawing so near. I didn’t expect things would turn out like this. I don’t know…I suppose this whole thing really is just interesting to watch and experience. I’m getting through it, and sometimes that’s really all you can ask for.
