Monday – Wednesday – Friday
This is my life on any given Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. After a few days into this term, I'd
already gotten into a routine—something that's always nice to have.
10:15 — Wake up, shower, and eat breakfast either in
my room or over at the dining hall.
10:45 — By this time I’m either at the library or on
my way there, studying up or reviewing notes a little before my first class.
11:30 — First class of the day…at 11:30 in the morning…it’s
a government class which I really like.
12:30-12:40 — Rush to my next class which is about a 6-minute
walk at the most. It's my humanities class…we cover all the classics and do a
lot of writing.
2:00 — In the library again either relaxing or
doing some last-minute work before my last class of the day.
3:00 — Spanish class where I’m learning about the
history of Spain. It’s basically a history class, just in Spanish.
4:00-4:15 — A short 15-minute break between class
and track & field practice.
4:15-8:00 — Track practice and then dinner at the
Campus Center right up until it closes.
8:30-12:00 midnight — Guess where I am now? Yeah,
library, again, this time for more work. The library closes at midnight which
gives me a deadline for the night, making me work that much faster.
Midnight-2:00 — Spend my time either hanging out in my
dorm, finishing up some last-minute homework, or going to bed.
And then I'm up again to do another day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, though, my earliest
class isn’t until 1:10. How nice is that?
Of course, that’s not all that happens in a given day. I
didn’t mention the professors and students I see and spend time with, the short
walks to classes, or enjoying the weather—there’s so much more to say. Either way though, what a day!
