Harder to concentrate

We just had our spring break and let me just say that it was amazing. A bunch of us drove down to Panama City Beach, Florida and experienced all that this super-classy location had to offer. It was a great chance to forget about midterms and just let loose. There were so many people from Centre around and I got to know a bunch of them that I hadn't had the chance to talk to before spring break.

Coming back to Centre from the amazing weather in Florida wasn't as bad as I thought it would be because the weather is getting so nice here. All of the flowers are starting to come out and smell good, everyone is outside sitting on blankets talking and the temperature is not too hot and not too cool. Class is more and more often being held outside in the grass, and along with all that it's getting harder and harder to concentrate.

Intramural sports are starting, and our first practice for the annual TriDelta softball team is this week. I can't wait to experience this. I've been told that it's one of the most exciting events of the spring. No one is serious about it so it's another good chance to get outside and bond with your team.

So, to sum up, Centre in the spring makes all the work worthwhile. It's time to enjoy this month and the things it has to offer until we have to spend all of our time in the library studying for finals.
