Two more weeks!

I just got back from Thanksgiving vacation and all I can think about is the fact that only one more week of classes and one week of finals are the only things that stand between me and a relaxing, carefree Christmas vacation.

Thanksgiving was great because it was my first time home and I got to have great food and great company with my family in town. I also now have more desserts than I can possibly eat, because I just had my birthday and my mom and various other people have given me good things.

But now that I'm back in school, I really need to buckle down and focus on getting ready for my finals. I have some tough finals coming up, but also there is some creativity allowed. For instance, in biology we're having a graded discussion over a book as part of the final. This should be fun, but it also means that I have to actively participate for a good grade.

My finals schedule is similar to the one I had in high school. I have one each day and most are in the morning, so that will mean that I don't have many intense days of studying, because I don't have more than one final a day. I'm going to try and start studying a week ahead for each final, but we'll see how that works out.

So basically, this next week will consist of me sitting down, studying, eating desserts, and gaining the freshman fifteen in one week.
