Back in Georgia
Life has slowed down a little since I've been back in Georgia. I think it's the lack of a wild party every weekend or a paper due every Friday; either way I still miss my life back in Danville. This year went by so fast and so many things have changed, it's hard to believe that I'll be a sophomore in college this fall. I want to be back, but it'll be good to relax at home for a little while.
I've been busy working around the house because it's getting old and needing some good TLC. I've rebuilt the deck and am now working on painting the fence. After that, the whole house will need a good paint job as well. This is all starting a process for our family to someday move closer to Kentucky.
A great part of coming home is seeing how people have changed since you last saw them. Everyone has their own stories from college and I sure have mine to share as well. It's fun to see them and hear about their new friends and all, because I know I've got a great new bunch of friends at college too. One thing I've noticed is that some people really want to be back with their high school friends, while others are really missing their friends from college. Personally, it's great to see some old friends, but I'm looking forward to being with everyone up at Centre.
Thanks for checking in on my journal all year! Check out the new My CENTRE Life in the Fall!
