Like coming home again

Well, all I have to say is that CentreTerm is awesome. I have a great class, I just had my birthday, the National Championship game was on Monday, and I'm really having a great time.

Looking back over Christmas break, I had a great time with my family up in Philadelphia and Delaware. We always see family over the holidays, and we usually have to head up to the Philadelphia area; it's the "Mecca" of our family during the holidays. I also got to catch up with all my friends from back home, and as we told stories of different things that happened at our colleges, I had quite a few to share. We shared many good times ushering in the New Year as well. Although break was fun and relaxing, it also feels very good to be back on campus; it's like coming home again.

CentreTerm is now warming up and is becoming one of the best experiences I've had here yet, with the exception of football. My class is called, "Health and Culture" and it's all about the healthcare industry. I hosted a prospective student last weekend; he was a linebacker from Georgia, my home state. I believe I showed him a good night, and I hope things work out for him in his college search. Tomorrow my roommate is getting a prospective student from our old high school, so things will be good again.

Workouts have also started up for football, which is getting exciting seeing the team prepare for next season. I really can't wait to see what we can do next season, with all the work we will do in the off season.

As the spring term rapidly approaches, I'm enjoying my time here at Centre and it's really hard to believe how fast the terms go.
