Boy, was I wrong

I'm finally finished with my first term...it feels great! I knew this college was going to be tough, but I definitely didn't know that it was going to be as stressful as it was. I was always an "A" student in high school, and I didn't have to take any finals last year. At Centre, however, there're no exemptions, so I had to study and take them.

I thought I'd know all of the material when I sat down to study--boy, was I wrong. If you don't use it, you WILL lose it. Then you have to go back and learn it all again for the final. I've definitely matured because now I know what it takes to succeed at Centre. It takes a lot of hard work and studying, but you have to find a balance or you'll be burned out. The teachers were definitely a great help this term, and God got me through everything. All in all, it's been great to be here, and I'm looking forward to my CentreTerm course as well as my spring courses.
