I fell in love

Work and tennis, work and tennis...with a little bit of cello on the side. Welcome to Moe's summer! Not the most adventurous summer but at least it’s summer! Luckily I have great friends who make it exciting. My summer began pretty much the same as others, easy-going and stress-free. For one week, I spent time in Liberty, Kentucky with tons of old friends including a fellow incoming Centre buddy. July came sooner than expected and my regular routine of work and tennis began. I’m finding it difficult to make time for friends. However, it needs to be a priority to find time because soon we will all part our ways for the next chapter of our lives. To close out my summer, I’ll be heading to Cincinnati for the Men's Tennis Open. While there, I will hopefully see my long-lost husband Andy Roddick who doesn't even know I exist.

Now, let me expose to you the REAL reason I chose Centre. My college search wasn’t the movie-scripted, jaw-dropping, in-awe moment like many kids have had. The first time I walked onto the campus I was in 6th grade helping my sister move in. Centre was cute but I was no way thinking about college at that age. I was more worried about what my next meal was going to be. However, coming back to watch her play softball, listen to her play the in the orchestra, and fun-filled family weekends, I immediately fell in love. I’m anticipating this fall with high expectations. I can't wait to enjoy the local Chinese food at Wok N Go. I can't wait to meet the other girls on my floor. Lastly, I CANNOT wait to set up a hammock during a cool fall day and take in what Centre has in store for me.
