.) Hometown: Atlanta a.k.a. ATL a.k.a. Hotlanta a.k.a. A-Town a.k.a. The Durty Souf. It's a fun, energized city with just enough southern twang to make it perfect for me and my family. I mean, I drive by Diddy's house, Andre3000 frequents our malls, my friend sold clothes to Usher...it’s all in a day's work.

.) Family/Pets: John, Ellen, Charlotte, & Gene. One is my mom, one is my Dad, one is my half-brother, one is my dog.

.) High School: Atlanta Girls' School...yes, all girls. (Most people's first question is: "Wait, no boys?!")

.) Extracurricular activities: Laughing, softball, soccer, basketball, service, coaching, being easily entertained, traveling, photography, ceramics, and meeting new people.

.) High school career highlight: It HAS to be the Senior Prank. We (my class of 18 girls) had an "appreciation breakfast" for the teachers in a remote room in the school. Oh, and we locked them in and made them do silly tasks to get out...it's on tape.

.) Favorite past "My CENTRE Lifer": Maureen; her personality seems to jump off the page.

.) The thing you are most looking forward to about Centre: Meeting new people and capitalizing on all these things that I want to do—that I can do—at this college.

.) Your greatest apprehension about college: Time-management. Oh, Lord.

.) The way your parents feel about you moving out: "Bittersweet," says Dad (with a glistening tear, of course). "Thrilled," says Mom...don't quite know how to decipher that.

.) Intended major(s) and minor(s): Possibly a psychobiology major and an international studies minor...but who knows?

.) If you could bring one performer/group to the College's Norton Center for the Arts, it would be: Red Hot Chili Peppers. I think it'd be pretty hot—red hot.

.) Worst movie ever: Gordy. Yeah, the Babe knock-off movie.

.) If given a million dollars to donate to an organization of your choosing, to what organization (for profit or not-for-profit) would you donate it: WorldVision, hands down. I sponsor a child in Malawi (I almost got to meet her!) and what they do for the education, health, and happiness of all the children who don’t regularly get it is so amazing.

.) Favorite smell: The mountains in Highlands, North Carolina.

.) If you could have any one question answered before you die, it would be: "Why, oh, why did You create mosquitoes?"

.) Person (living or dead) with whom you'd most like to have dinner. In addition, where would you go to eat or what would you cook for them? Lance Armstrong. I would definitely cook for him. We would discuss his strength, determination, and perseverance over one of my mean bowls of cereal.

.) If stranded on a deserted island, what would be the one non-survival item you'd want with you? A camera.

.) If you had thought of it first, with what invention do you wish you could have been credited? The whoopee cushion. Definitely.

.) Describe yourself in a haiku (5-7-5) or other poetic form:
Five feet—she stands tall,
Ready to travel the world,
Crazy brown-eyed girl.

.) Why did you choose Centre?
I chose Centre because it's a small, liberal arts, out of state (for me), recognized college that provides great student-faculty relationships and fantastic study abroad opportunities, but mainly for the overall "yes you can" vibe.
