Campus Tour During the two upcoming fall open house events, prospective
students and their families have the opportunity to take guided
campus tours, where current students like Jordan Wilkinson

Centre College’s office of admission invites prospective students and their families to campus this fall for the final two “Find Your Flame” Days. These open house events will be held on Friday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 7.

“The Find Your Flame events offer incredible access to Centre’s resources in a short amount of time—ideal for time-crunched high school seniors and their parents,” admission counselor Natalie Frost says.

Attending events like these, she adds, is “an integral part of the college-decision making process. Prospective students can read stacks and stacks of college guidebooks but there’s no way to determine if a school is a good fit until they’ve stepped on campus.”

Unlike individual campus visits, which are tailored to each prospective student’s interests, open house events offer students the opportunity to hear from a wide variety of current students and to meet with faculty from a variety of disciplines. As they do on individual visits, they also have the chance to take a guided campus tour and grab a bite to eat in the College’s dining commons.

During the Find Your Flame event, visitors will attend a panel discussion with professors, students and admission staff about the Centre experience; they will also have the chance for one-on-one discussions with people who can convey to prospective students what it means to be a part of the Centre community.

Information on financial aid and admission will also be available with staff on hand to better explain the processes for students and their families.
