High school juniors: Visit Centre's campus this Saturday
March 11, 2010
High school juniors who are interested in learning more about Centre are invited to Junior Day this Saturday, March 13.
Prospective students who want to learn more about Centre College and the college admission process will have an opportunity to explore the campus and hear a series of presentations during Junior Day on Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on campus.
This is the perfect time for high school juniors and their families to tour Centre's campus. Everyone will be invited to sit in on insightful sessions about college admission, scholarships and financial aid. Juniors and their families can take a campus tour; meet students, faculty and Centre president John Roush; attend a panel discussion; and learn about Centre's wide range of academic programs. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to talk candidly with current students about the advantages and challenges of life at Centre.
"This event will give juniors an opportunity to become better acquainted with Centre and see first-hand the educational possibilities that are here for them," says Carey Thompson, vice president for enrollment and student planning services. "We're always excited to host the juniors each spring."
