Incredible story of Centre running back chronicled in Herald-Leader

the Centre football team for three years.

On Sunday, Oct. 17, Lexington’s Herald-Leader shared with its readers the inspiring story of Centre College junior Jonathan Pinque’s childhood, adolescence, and actions as a young man. From spending his first years in Haiti to living with an adoptive family in California to a heroic act that led to his earning a national Carnegie Hero Award to becoming a star running back at Centre, Pinque’s life has been anything but ordinary.
