David Stribling has been hired as Centre College’s new Sodexho food services general manager.

A food service specialist for 20 years, Stribling started out as a banquet manager for several U.S. Congressional officials. He has worked with a variety of organizations, including Duke University, The University of Chicago, Merrill Lynch headquarters in New York and Pillsbury, among others. His work has taken him to the Philippines, South Africa and Australia, where he has learned ways to expand his gourmet food expertise.

“I’m truly grateful to be here,” Stribling says. “I’m elated to have the opportunity to advance as a dining specialist and as an individual because of the innovative and inspiring culture at Centre and in Danville.”

Before coming to Centre, Stribling served as a senior district manager at Inter Tech International.

Stribling will oversee the management of all the dining service options available at Centre, which include Cowan Dining Commons and The Everyday Café in the Campus Center and The Hall of Fame Café located on the second floor of the Sutcliffe Hall athletic and recreation facility.

In addition to being open to students, faculty and staff members, Centre’s dining options are also open to the local public community. For hours, menus and more, click here.
