January 13, 2011
C6 HO Applications for students wishing to enroll at Centre in the fall of
2011 are to be postmarked no later than Jan. 15.

Prospective students hoping to be part of the Centre College Class of 2015 should have their admission applications completed and postmarked by Jan. 15.

Students can apply to Centre using the Common Application online or by obtaining one from high school guidance offices. Application fees are waived for those who apply online.

The window to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is from Jan. 1 to March 1. See Centre’s financial aid page for more information. More than 80 percent of Centre students receive financial assistance, nearly 60 percent receive need-based financial aid, and more than half receive merit-based scholarships.

Timely applicants will receive admission decisions by mid-March, with scholarship and aid notification following in late March.

High school juniors interested in attending Centre should mark March 6 and April 30 on their calendars for Junior Day open house events. During these open houses, prospective students and their parents can tour the campus and attend informative sessions about choosing a college, beginning the application process, financing a Centre education and learning more about a day in the life of a college student.
