Never before have Centre College students so beautifully captured scenes from their study abroad adventures as during the current school year. The communications office received hundreds of stunning shots of life overseas, and after much deliberation, the three top photos have been chosen.

While taking part in the Centre-in-China study abroad program, Jordan Wilkinson captured the reflection of The Forbidden City in Beijing.
Global Citizenship at Centre
Eighty-five percent of Centre students study abroad, living and learning in countries such as England, France, Vietnam, Mexico, India, Cameroon, Japan, China, Spain and Israel. What makes Centre's programs different from those at other colleges and universities is that a Centre faculty member with significant knowledge of that region of the world lives at the site, teaching and coordinating special trips and other activities.
Centre operates residential sites for its own students in England (London), France (in Strasbourg, across the Rhine River from Germany), and Latin America (in Merida, Mexico). We also have exchange programs with schools in Japan and Northern Ireland. Some students also study at the University of Reading (near London), Shanghai University (China) and the University of Lleida (Spain).
