Sundays. Get Centred. A contemplative Christian worship service in the candlelit sanctuary of the Presbyterian Church every Sunday night. Second Sunday College Lunch at the Presbyterian Church. All college students are invited to join us for worship at 11 a.m. and a free lunch following the service in the Fellowship Hall on October 14. Come enjoy a meal with several Centre alumni, faculty, staff and professors from our congregation! We are located between Pearl Hall and the Norton Center, on the corner of College and Walnut.
Lottery for VP Debate Tickets! Students are invited to complete the survey (click here) to be part of the lottery for student tickets to the 2012 Vice Presidential Debate on Thursday, Oct. 11. Important information for consideration: At this time, it is uncertain if the College will receive tickets to distribute to students, though it is our priority to make any College tickets available to students. Should a student's name be drawn to receive a ticket, the ticket will be non-transferrable to another individual. Students have until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7 to enter the student ticket lottery. If tickets become available, an email message will be sent to all students announcing the time and location of the public lottery where names will be drawn. Student names will also be drawn to be on standby, should additional tickets become available the day of the Debate. Volunteer Opportunities
Join the Debates! 200 Centre students are needed to serve as facilitators for online video discussions with high school students following each Presidential Debate. Students will be trained to facilitate discussions via Google Hangouts with up to 10 high school students from around the world, processing the content of each Debate and the issues covered in each debate.
