Angkor Wat at sunset

A photo of Centre students and other tourists enjoying a beautiful sunset on top of the ruins on Phnom Bakheng hill in the Angkor temple complex near Siem Reap, Cambodia. Writes Taylor Smith, "Led by Dr. Wyatt and Dr. Stroup, our group of 43 spent 2 nights in Siem Reap touring the massive 200 hectare area of temples known as Angkor, the most famous of which is Angkor Wat ('City of Temples'). The ruins at Angkor Wat date back to the 12th Century and are believed to have been completed in 37 years, an exceptionally short time considering its spectacular size."
