Adam Allen '06 writes: "This is a photo of Phyllis Bellver [assistant professor of Spanish] and me with students in Eskoriatza, Gipuzkoa Province, the Basque Country, Spain...at the school Arizmendi Ikastola.

"We were there conducting interviews with the students in this photograph; our goal was to interview native speakers of Basque (Euskera) on their use of the local dialect vs. standard Basque.
