In preparation for a flat race, Jamey Price, a freshman from Mineral Springs, N.C., breezes a horse named Kill Devil Rum (on the outside) with professional steeplechase trainer Janet Elliot. Price went on to win his first sanctioned National Steeplechase Association race.
