Hangin' with Dead Fred

During CentreTerm, a government class on American foreign policy traveled to Washington, D.C. While there, several students visited the U.S. Supreme Court, where they had a chance encounter with one of Centre’s famous alums: Fred M. Vinson (aka “Dead Fred” whose portrait is taken to every Centre home football game), former Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. (L-R: Seth Woods ’08, J.J.
